IT'S THE CLASH OF AMERICAN IRON  ---  HARLEY VS. INDIAN!

This year we're bringing back the greatest rivalry of the 20th century motorcycle scene with displays that transport you to the days of "Win on Sunday - Sell on Monday".  We'll have plenty of old Harley and Indians on display which will walk you through the blood, sweat and gears of the high tech battle as each maker fought to innovate (and imitate) its rival into submission.  The Viking Chapter meet is famous not only for our huge collection of motorcycles on display, but the detail and depth in our multi-media exhibits that educate, inform and entertain our visitors.  There will be original magazine advertisements hailing Indian's racing prowess and Harley's early public relations campaign to position their bike as "The Silent Grey Fellow" alternative.  In every aspect of two-wheeled transport, from hill climbs, flat track, touring to police mounts - the two giants fought it out to be bitter end.

MINNESOTA'S LARGEST DISPLAY OF ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLES

You can expect our membership to display more than 160 antique motorcycles from around the world and across all decades of the twentieth century.  From well known brands like Triumph and Norton to lesser known bikes like NSU and Condor.  You'll see bikes brought to glorious restoration and barn fresh rats.  There are so many great memories in the old bikes; the bike display is a definite MUST SEE.  The show's indoors, so come on down - rain or shine!

HUGE OUTDOOR SWAP MEET

The campground surrounding the Progress Center hosts an antique swap meet full of hard to get parts for your vintage restoration project.  You'll find whole motorcycles in various stages of rebirth and all those bits you've been looking for to finish that project in your garage!

OLD BIKE RIDE

Join in on a ride with the antique motorcycles, held both Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

We hope you can make it out to our meet.  Entrance fee is only five bucks; take the whole club down to the fair for a great destination for a June ride.  There will be plenty of parking and food on site.  All the action is at the Progress Center building, just head towards the big water tower.
